Performance Attire

All the concert attire requirements and recommendations are the responsibility of the student and parents/guardians. Any student or family in need may request to borrow concert attire for a performance, however ideal size matches cannot be guaranteed.

Standard Curricular Choirs Attire
Concert attire/costume requirements/suggestions may change from concert to concert, but unless stated otherwise performing students should wear the following:

Required
EMS Choir Shirt (tucked in)
Black bottoms, such as dress pants or skirt
Black dress shoes/flats (≤ 2” heel)

Recommended
White undershirt
Black belt
Black socks

Concert Flare/Costumes
On occasion, students may be encouraged to wear additional accessories/flare and/or entire costumes to a EMS choir concert. Guidelines for performance attire/costumes will be provided to families at least two weeks before the concert.

Donating Concert Attire
The EMS Choir Program will gladly accept donations of out-grown concert attire. If you would like to donate used clothing, please put in bag labeled “EMS Choir Donation” and bring to EMS main office.

Choir T-Shirts
Students are expected to wear an EMS Choir t-shirt for choir concerts and events. An EMS Choir shirt will be given to each student, and the cost for the shirt is included in the Class Fees.  Please let us know if your student needs a new shirt in a different size.
