General Admission is Eisenhower's mixed ensemble for students in the sixth grade. This group spans two class periods and performs in the fall, winter, pre-festival, and charity concerts. General Admission also participates in the District VII Music Performance and Assessment Festival.
Mixed Choir is a beginning and intermediate mixed or treble ensemble for students in the seventh and eighth grades. This group performs in the fall, winter, pre-festival, and charity concerts. Mixed Choir also participates in the District VII Music Performance and Assessment Festival.
Five Star Show Choir
Five Star Show Choir is an advanced mixed show choir comprised of thirty-six singers representing all three grades. Meeting before school four times every week, Five Star learns music and choreography at a highly accelerated rate. For the past three years, Five Star has earned 1st place in the State "Showfest" competition. Five Star is the first choir in New Mexico to be named Grand Champion in an out-of-state show choir competition, having brought home Best Showmanship and Best Musicianship in the 2014 Los Alamitos "Xtravaganza" in Los Alamitos, CA. In April 2015, Five Star received 2nd place in the Middle School Mixed Show Choir division of the prestigious John Burroughs Music Showcase in Burbank, CA.
In the Fall semester, Five Star will perform at the Fall Concert, the Winter Concert, and throughout the community during the month of December. During the Spring, they will be competing in the Burbank Blast in Burbank, CA, in addition to performing locally in the Spring Charity Concert and various Show Choir Showcases in Albuquerque!
