Eisenhower Middle School Choirs

General Admission

General Admission is Eisenhower's mixed ensemble for students in the sixth grade. This group spans two class periods and performs in the fall, winter, pre-festival, and charity concerts. General Admission also participates in the District VII Music Performance and Assessment Festival.

Mixed/Treble Choir

Mixed Choir is a beginning and intermediate mixed or treble ensemble for students in the seventh and eighth grades. This group performs in the fall, winter, pre-festival, and charity concerts. Mixed Choir also participates in the District VII Music Performance and Assessment Festival.

Concert Choir
2016 NMMEA Honor Choir

Concert Choir is a varsity mixed ensemble for students in the seventh and eigth grades. Concert Choir is comprised of approximately sixty singers who auditioned in order to become members. The ensemble consistently receives superior ratings at contests and festivals, and was awarded the NMAA State Championship title in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017. They were also named the 2016 NMMEA Honor Choir and presented a concert at the annual convention last winter under the direction of Mr. Nick Prior. Concert Choir learns music at a fast pace, and often sings music for male and female ensembles as well. Concert Choir performs at the fall, winter, pre-festival, and charity concerts, and competes in the NMAA State Choir Contest. Concert Choir also participates in the District VII Music Performance and Assessment Festival.

Five Star Show Choir

Five Star Show Choir is an advanced mixed show choir comprised of over forty singers representing all three grades. Meeting before school four times every week, Five Star learns music and choreography at a highly accelerated rate. In 2018 Five Star came in third place in their division at The Burbank Blast Competition with the "This Show is Fire" set.
In the Fall semester, Five Star will perform at the Fall Concert, the Winter Concert, and throughout the community during the month of December. During the Spring, they will be competing in the Burbank Blast in Burbank, CA, in addition to performing locally in the Spring Charity Concert and various Show Choir Showcases in Albuquerque!
