William Gonzales, Choir Director
William Gonzales is a proud New Mexico native who graduated from the University of New Mexico in 2010 with a degree in Music Education. After graduating, Mr. Gonzales spent six years in the Washington, D.C. metro area teaching and earning his Master’s degree in Music Education from the University of Maryland. While in Maryland, he taught at Newport Mill Middle School, where he grew a choir program from 42 students to over 130 singers across four ensembles. He also served as ensemble manager and assistant director of the Strathmore Children’s Chorus Concert Chorus, a prestigious vocal ensemble for high school-aged female singers. In this role, he collaborated with dedicated students and professionals to produce exceptional choral performances on nationally recognized stages. Since returning to New Mexico in 2017, Mr. Gonzales has served as the choir director at Eisenhower Middle School. Under his direction, the Five Star Show Choir won 1st place at the 2023 Light Up the Stage Show Choir Competition in Burbank, California. His Concert Choir has consistently placed 2nd or 3rd in the middle school division at the NMAA State Choir Competition. In recognition of his work, Mr. Gonzales has been invited to clinic and adjudicate choral events across multiple NMMEA districts. |

Steffahn Maclin, Five Star Choreographer Raised in Euclid, Ohio Steffahn began his performance career when he started dancing in elementary show choir! He would go on to take that training throughout his high school career. Steffahn attended Kent State University, where he honed his craft in the performing arts while simultaneously studying Communications. Upon graduating Steffahn ventured out to New York City where he currently works consistent gigs in Musical Theatre and Commercial Dance. While pursuing a career in the entertainment industry, he also works as a dance instructor in New York City and Ohio. Steffahn also works as a freelance production assistant in the New York TV & Film industry. |
Gabriella Mack, Five Star Choreographer
Gabriella Mack is a performer based in New York City. Originally from Ohio, Gabriella was a part of the inaugural group at the Chagrin Performing Arts Academy and moved directly to the Big Apple two weeks after graduation to attend the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. Since graduating from AMDA she has performed in national tours, Off-Broadway, regionally, as well as performing in various concerts and cabarets around the country. She was also seen as the lead on a MTV docuseries.
In addition to being an actress, singer and dancer Gabriella is also an award-winning performing arts educator, coach, and choreographer with over a decade of experience. As an educator, one of her greatest honors was being a part of the 2014 Tony Award winning staff of Rosie’s Theater Kids! Gabriella has worked and collaborated with many organizations across the country teaching theatre, choreography, voice, and dance to all students and groups of all ages and backgrounds.
