William Gonzales, Choir Director
William Gonzales is a proud New Mexico native who graduated from UNM in 2010 with a degree in Music Education. After graduating, Mr. Gonzales spent 6 years in the Washington, DC metro area teaching and earning a master’s degree in music education at the University of Maryland. In Maryland, Mr. Gonzales taught at Newport Mill Middle School where he grew a choir class of 42 students to a functioning program consisting of over 130 singers and 4 ensembles. Additionally, Mr. Gonzales worked as ensemble manager and assistant director for the Strathmore Children’s Chorus Concert Chorus, a vocal ensemble for females grades 9–12. This prestigious organization allowed him to work with highly-dedicated students and professionals to create exceptional choral music for presentation on a world-renowned stage. Though leaving the choirs and communities in the DC metro area was difficult, Mr. Gonzales is ecstatic to be home in the Southwest and a part of the community at Eisenhower Middle School. Mr. Gonzales became the choir director at Eisenhower Middle School in 2017. |
Danae Holly, Five Star Assistant Director Danae Holly was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It is here in the gorgeous southwest that Danae grew her passion for music, dance, and all things theatre related. Danae has worked as a choreographer for a local nonprofit children’s theater for 4 years. It is through this experience that Danae has developed her own skills as a teacher of dance. Danae graduated from The Public Academy for Performing Arts, a local high school in Albuquerque. During her time there, Danae was a part of an all-women’s choir and dance ensemble for two years. Danae had the magical experience to work at Walt Disney World in Florida. Here, Danae gathered skills in customer service and multi-tasking, making her internship one of the most magical experiences she has ever been a part of. Danae’s hobbies include everything Disney, her puppy Bentley, gardening, teaching, spending time with her husband, and always looking for the next adventure. Danae currently works as a legal assistant. Danae is currently in school to get her paralegal license, and later working towards Bachelors in American Sign Language Interpreting. |
Steffahn Maclin, Five Star Choreographer Raised in Euclid, Ohio Steffahn began his performance career when he started dancing in elementary show choir! He would go on to take that training throughout his high school career. Steffahn attended Kent State University, where he honed his craft in the performing arts while simultaneously studying Communications. Upon graduating Steffahn ventured out to New York City where he currently works consistent gigs in Musical Theatre and Commercial Dance. While pursuing a career in the entertainment industry, he also works as a dance instructor in New York City and Ohio. Steffahn also works as a freelance production assistant in the New York TV & Film industry. |
Gabriella Mack, Five Star Choreographer Gabriella Mack is a performer based in New York City. Originally from Ohio, Gabriella was a part of the inaugural group at the Chagrin Performing Arts Academy and moved directly to the Big Apple two weeks after graduation to attend the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. Since graduating from AMDA she has performed in national tours, Off-Broadway, regionally, as well as performing in various concerts and cabarets around the country. She was also seen as the lead on a MTV docuseries. In addition to being an actress, singer and dancer Gabriella is also an award-winning performing arts educator, coach, and choreographer with over a decade of experience. As an educator, one of her greatest honors was being a part of the 2014 Tony Award winning staff of Rosie’s Theater Kids! Gabriella has worked and collaborated with many organizations across the country teaching theatre, choreography, voice, and dance to all students and groups of all ages and backgrounds. |
