Concerts
Traditionally, EMS choirs present four concerts a year - one each quarter - in October, December, March, and May. These seasonal concerts feature all ensembles of the Eisenhower Choir Program. The concert may feature various performances from individual students or small ensembles. Family, friends, community members, and EMS faculty and staff are invited to attend.
2023/2024 Concert Schedule TBD
Fall Concert - October
Winter Concert - December
Pre-Festival Concert - March
Spring Concert - May
Concert attendance is required for all students. Concert attire is covered in detail on the Concert Attire page. Choir T-shirts, black bottoms (slacks/skirts) and black shoes are standard.
Call time for concerts will be communicated to students, and it is usually at least 30-45 minutes before the concert start time. Families are welcome to drop off students early and then return later to find their seats in the audience. Alternatively, you're welcome to come early and help out. The Boosters can always use help setting up chairs and passing out programs. :-) Please be aware that Mr. G and the students spend the time before the concert warming up in the concert space. It's ok to quietly enter the gym to find your seats while they are warming up.
EMS Choir concerts are fun community events, and the gym is usually packed full of family members, alumni, and EMS Choir supporters. We know that finding parking and seats can be time consuming and a bit stressful. We do try to make it as easy and welcoming as possible for all, so please ask a Booster for assistance if you need anything. We are there to help!
